A man from Crumlin is in a critical condition after being struck by a vehicle in the early hours of Sunday morning.
The collision occurred on the A472 in Hafodyrynys at around 3.45am Sunday, May 8.
The man sustained serious injuries, and is currently receiving treatment at the Royal Gwent Hospital.
Police believe the driver may not have been aware of their part in the collision, and are appealing for any person driving along the A472 at that time that may have been involved, or any witnesses, to contact them quoting Niche Number 1600164891 or Storm Number GWP20160508-0120.
